Open last movie on launch

Some applications have a preference setting to open the last used document on application launch.
Director has no such function directly, but you can achieve the same functionality by using the "Start page" movie introduced with Director MX 2004.

In your configuration folder have a folder "Start Page" and there a
movie "startPage.dxr" (It should already be there unless you have deleted these items after installing director) with only the following moviescript:

on startmovie
  dispatchcommand(getauthmrufilelist()[2])
end

Now enable or disable the "launch last document" feature via the "Show start page on launch" checkbox in the General Preferences of Director 10 or greater.

I uploaded my version of Start Page.dxr, which reads the settings from an external xml file, where you can specify, whether or not to open the last document as well as any number of movie files, which get auto opened on launch of director, for example tool miaws, which you use always. Download and read a further description.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This seems to fail on Windows. I only used it on MacOSX until now, but just tested and noticed, that it does work, but throws an error on launch. If anybody comes across a fix for the Windows version, I'd appreciate a heads up!
